“Oh, now I love her ad.”
So declared President Donald Trump with regards to the controversial American Eagle campaign, which features Sydney Sweeney, a starlet with worldwide fame.
The ad had become highly controversial for a simple declaration: “Sydney Sweeney has great jeans.”
While the word “jeans” is clearly a play on the word “genes,” it is hardly “racist” to say that someone has good genes. Heck, the phrase “good genes” is fairly commonplace in most dialogues.
Aside from the dialogues in woke universe, that is. Multiple liberals had a meltdown over the Sweeney ad, with many claiming it was akin to “Nazi propaganda.”
Yikes.
And, in the chaos of the American Eagle controversy, Sweeney’s voter registration was leaked … and it revealed that she is a registered Republican.
And, according to a report from the Daily Mail, Trump is just delighted.
“That’s one I wouldn’t have known but I’m glad you told me that … If Sydney Sweeney is a registered Republican, I think her ad is fantastic,” Trump informed the Daily Mail.
Fantastic in more ways than one. After all, something suggests that Americans would prefer Sydney Sweeney and American Eagle over Dylan Mulvaney and Budweiser.
“You’d be surprised at how many people are Republican,” Trump added.
Not to mention how many more will feel more comfortable “coming out” as a conservative, especially when considering the influence of industrious, intelligent actresses such as Sweeney.
Shortly after his conversation with the Daily Mail, Trump further doubled down on his support for the starlet, noting that she has the “hottest” advertisement in the retail space.
“Sydney Sweeney, a registered Republican, has the ‘HOTTEST’ ad out there. It’s for American Eagle, and the jeans are ‘flying off the shelves.’ Go get ‘em Sydney!” Trump boomed.
Vice President JD Vance weighed in during an interview on “The Ruthless Podcast.”
“My political advice to the Democrats is continue to tell everybody who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is a Nazi. That appears to be their actual strategy,” Vance drily remarked.
Such an observation would be hilarious, if it were not so dangerously accurate.
“It actually reveals something pretty interesting about the Dems, though, which is that you have like a normal, all-American beautiful girl doing like a normal jeans ad, right? To try to sell, you know, sell jeans to kids in America, and they have managed to so unhinge themselves over this thing,” Vance continued.
Precisely. One of the many perils of perpetual victimhood.
Senator Ted Cruz revealed his own amused perspective on the latest, and not so greatest, strategy from the ultra-liberals.
“Wow. Now the crazy Left has come out against beautiful women. I’m sure that will poll well….” Cruz remarkedon X.
Seriously!
Meanwhile, former presidential candidate Kamala Harris garnered immense criticism for her overreliance on terminally liberal celebrities.
Not to mention terminally overpaid celebrities, in particular characters such as Oprah, whose company made a pretty penny off of Harris’s rally.
Little wonder that many younger people are turning towards the Republicans at an unprecedented rate. Especially as doing so is now the apparently cool thing to do. Especially on college campuses.
“If you’re 19 years old, and you want to be a rebel, show up on your college campus and call yourself a conservative. Say you want to get married, have kids, teach them to believe in God & pledge allegiance to the flag. Give it a try and see what happens,” Ramaswamy proclaimed on X.
Without a doubt.
And, on that note, admiration for the Second Amendment would be another example of rebellion.
One that Sweeney has also embraced.
“A video of Americana star Sydney Sweeney perfecting her shooting skills at a gun range resurfaced online and quickly went viral after she was revealed to be a registered Republican … In the video, Sweeney expertly takes out multiple dummy targets in just a few seconds, not so much as flinching while the force of each shot rippled up her arms,” The New York Post detailed.
Little wonder that Trump was left swooning over Sweeney.
