Biden-Backed Judge Starts War With Trump Over Education “Services”

While much attention has been understandably focused on the economy and varied geopolitical affairs, it would appear that more than one Biden-backed judge is intent on reducing the Trump administration’s efforts to curtail federal oversight of education.

In particular the efforts associated with official executive actions or orders.

Recently, President Trump issued an executive action that undoubtedly sent several teachers into a rage.

The executive action – “Improving Education Outcomes by Empowering Parents, States, and Communities” – outlined all the ways in which the Department of Education has not exactly served the needs of American families, which is precisely why the Trump administration took direct aim at its existence.

“The Secretary of Education shall, to the maximum extent appropriate and permitted by law, take all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return authority over education to the States and local communities while ensuring the effective and uninterrupted delivery of services, programs, and benefits on which Americans rely,” the action detailed.

Given that the Department of Education appears to have been weaponized into a Marxist mindset over the course of several decades, it is not surprising that the Trump administration attempted to return education to the states.

It’s even less surprising that a Biden-appointed judge is aiming to undermine Trump’s ability to do so.

According to a report from NBC News, the Biden-appointed District Court Judge Myong J. Joun has made it rather clear that he intends to put up all possible roadblocks to the Trump administration’s efforts to undermine the Department of Education.

“A department without enough employees to perform statutorily mandated functions is not a department at all. This court cannot be asked to cover its eyes while the Department’s employees are continuously fired and units are transferred out until the Department becomes a shell of itself,” Joun detailed.

Well, what was “itself” to begin with?

“The supporting declarations of former Department employees, educational institutions, unions, and educators paint a stark picture of the irreparable harm that will result from financial uncertainty and delay, impeded access to vital knowledge on which students and educators rely, and loss of essential services for America’s most vulnerable student populations,” Joun added.

Hm. Fair point. Except a real problem emerges when “essential services” in education can somehow devolve into gender ideology and other troubling developments.

“The record abundantly reveals that Defendants’ true intention is to effectively dismantle the Department without an authorizing statute … the Department cannot be shut down without Congress’s approval,” Joun concluded.

Right.

Per a report from The Hill, Madi Biedermann, a deputy assistant secretary for communications for the Education Department, declared the agency’s intention to “immediately challenge this on an emergency basis.”

“Once again, a far-left Judge has dramatically overstepped his authority, based on a complaint from biased plaintiffs, and issued an injunction against the obviously lawful efforts to make the Department of Education more efficient and functional for the American people,” Biedermann huffed.

Fair point. Especially when younger Americans have been brainwashed against their own country.

“President Trump and the Senate-confirmed Secretary of Education clearly have the authority to make decisions about agency reorganization efforts, not an unelected Judge with a political axe to grind. This ruling is not in the best interest of American students or families,” Biedermann added.

Another fair point.

Who will ultimately prevail in the latest judicial battle – the “unelected judge with a political axe to grind” or President Trump?

The victor may appear nebulous, but regardless of the outcome, it is clear that change – in one form or another – is most definitely coming.
