Crafty Commissioner Offers 1,400+ Acres To Commence Mass Deportations

Don’t mess with Texas!

… Especially when it comes to mass illegal migration.

While other states, notably Colorado and Massachusetts, appear to be bracing for a literal war with the federal government over illegals, sensible red states have adopted an entirely different tactic.

Namely cooperation, in the name of national security. And they’re ready to give up enormous amounts of land in order to do so.

According to a humorous article from The Daily Wire, Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham has made it abundantly clear that her top priority is the safety of American people, not the coddling of illegal migrants.

In particular violent, criminal illegals.

“What I care about is that we have safe communities, and there is no doubt that we are losing too many of our children to these violent criminals that are coming across the border … I am 100% on board with the Trump administration’s pledge to get these criminals out of our country, and we are more than happy to offer our resources to facilitate those deportations of these violent criminals,” Buckingham informed Fox News.

Hallelujah!

In fact, Buckingham is so on board that she wrote a compelling letter, in which she offered 1,400+ acres to facilitate mass deportation efforts.

“I am writing to formally offer 1,402 acres of land in Starr County, Texas, to be used to construct deportation facilities. The Texas General Land Office (GLO) currently owns a 1,402-acre tract roughly 35 miles west of McAllen, Texas,” Buckingham began.

In other words, Texas will not only support the forthcoming deportation efforts, but also offer up substantial land in order to do so.

And that land is well-positioned, both in terms of location and topography, as Buckingham also detailed in a separate statement.

“Right now, it’s essentially farmland, so it’s flat, it’s easy to build on. We could very easily put a detention center on there, a holding place as we get these criminals out of our country. It’s accessible to international airports as well as a major crossing over the river. And so we’re just happy to get help, do anything we can to get these violent criminals off of our soil,” Buckingham detailed in the interview with Fox News.

And Buckingham enjoys all the legal means in order to do so.

“My office is fully prepared to enter into an agreement with the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or the United States Border Patrol to allow a facility to be built for the processing, detention, and coordination of the largest deportation of violent criminals in the nation’s history,” Buckingham added in her letter.

Not only does Buckingham have the spirit, but she also has the wherewithal to go toe to toe with the cartel. Given that she has done so before … and won.

“At my direction, since serving as the head of this agency, the GLO has won several significant victories in the fight to repel cartel activities along our border,” Buckingham continued.

By all means, please elaborate.

“Early last year, my office was able to survey several islands in the Rio Grande River and declare them part of the State of Texas, permitting law enforcement to end all human trafficking and drug smuggling operations on them,” Buckingham declared.

At last, a real victory against one of the biggest scourges on the planet.

Yet another travesty the Dems have ignored in favor of their open border policies.

Indeed, Buckingham took on the nefarious activities occurring on “Fronton Island,” a 170-acre island that had previously been laden with “cartel-on-cartel” violence.

Little wonder that it was labeled “the most dangerous part of the Texas border” by both the Texas Military Department (TMD) and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)

In response to the deeply disturbing activity, Buckingham launched Operation Flat Top, in which Fronton Island was fully secured, cleared of all vegetation, and surrounded by razor wire.

Naturally, Buckingham discovered a “cache” of weapons, including improvised explosive devices (IEDs). However, those shenanigans have come to an end, in the wake of a successful anti-cartel operation.

Operation Flat Top was “a massive success, as all cartel-related activity has dropped to zero since its completion,” Buckingham proudly declared, in one of the most persuasive points of her letter.

Now, imagine a widespread expansion of Operation Flat Top … which will further ensure the security of all Americans.
