Gotta love it when the left begins to oh so conveniently eat its own.
And perhaps nowhere is that on fuller display than the present turmoil unfolding across the campus of Columbia University, where leftist brats have set up a massive, deeply antisemitic “solidarity camp” against Israel.
While Republicans have long criticized woke college students, several of whom are international and most of whom appear full of hate, the Democrats have been a bit more hesitant to call out the pro-terrorist militancy for what it is.
That said, more than one Democrat is undoubtedly paying attention to the polls, in which top presidential candidate Donald Trump continues to soar higher and higher while “President” Joe Biden continues to flounder.
And he’s definitely going to flounder even further following the extreme displays of virulent, antisemitic hatred.
Following weeks of violent protests, 21 Democrats, including Representative Josh Gottheimer and Dan Goldman, have taken it upon themselves to write a rather pointed letter to the board of trustees.
“We, the undersigned, write to express our disappointment that, despite promises to do so, Columbia University has not yet disbanded the unauthorized and impermissible encampment of anti-Israel, anti-Jewish activists on campus …
As a result of this disruption on campus, supported by some faculty members, many students have been prevented from safely attending class, the main library, and from leaving their dorm rooms in an apparent violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act,” the Democrat representatives wrote.
Frankly, these pitiable efforts now appear too little, too late.
Especially when the likes of Ilhan Omar and AOC are personally visiting the militant brats and encouraging them.
Turns out that most Americans are rather tired of militant college brats ruling the roost, and they are definitely tired of the Marxist professors that have clearly aided and abetted the antisemitism running rampant across university campuses now.
And, if only because of the upcoming election in November, some Democrats have finally decided to get a clue, chiefly by calling out the Board of Trustees at Columbia University for being utterly incompetent.
After all, Columbia University decided to cancel classes rather than kick all the little punks off campus, effectively handing a major win to the Soros-funded “protestors.”
Meanwhile, rabbis have advised Jewish students to avoid campus, as the threat to their safety is too high and the presence of security is too low.
Hilariously, Columbia University finally decided to “get tough” at the start of the week, ordering all students to disband by 2:00 p.m. or face suspension.
The response of the “students” was to double down, with virtually all the “protestors” refusing to disperse.
On top of that, a bunch of overpaid professors, several of whom easily make well into six figures, decided it would be appropriate to band arms and stand around the militant students in order to protect them from the consequences of their heinous actions.
It remains unclear what, if any, disciplinary action will be taken against the apparently pro-terrorist professors, but one thing is for certain: The ultra-woke left may well serve as the best campaign messaging for the Trump team yet.
After all, who would want to vote for a party that effectively supports modern day Nazis?
Pro-Israel Democrats are no doubt fuming over the antics of “The Squad,” who are hilariously contributing to the continued rise of Trump, at Biden’s expense.
May the internecine conflict reign supreme!
