Garland Exhibits Galling Double Standards

The latest witch hunt against former President Donald Trump has seriously underscored just how weaponized various federal agencies, which are ostensibly concerned with “justice,” have become.

In a pointed opinion piece, Fox News columnist Gregg Jarrett delivered a scathing commentary on the Biden administration’s brazen double standards, which not only entail significant domestic issues, but also involve several international crises.

“From the moment he was sworn in as attorney general, Merrick Garland set out to transform the Department of Justice into a zealous political organ. Without conscience, he weaponized his immense powers to protect President Biden while punishing his adversaries. Garland’s appointment of a special counsel to take over the DOJ’s investigations of Donald Trump offers further proof,” Jarrett began.

Absolutely.

The DOJ has become so “zealous” over its Biden-oriented mission that it has even targeted conservative parents, rather than actual threats to security.

Including the clear and present danger linked to Hunter Biden’s shady conflicts of interest.

“Yet, the attorney general continues to ignore an even greater conflict of interest as he presides over an FBI and U.S. attorney investigation of Hunter Biden that directly implicates his father, the president,” Jarrett continued.

And, should “the Big Guy” become too implicated in the press, it is pretty clear that Hunter Biden will be set up to take the fall, as quite a few globalists clearly have a vested interest in keeping “the Big Guy” allegedly “in charge” of the “free world.”

“How convenient and dishonest. It bears the unmistakable stench of a double standard,” the columnist added pointedly.

How convenient indeed.

Especially since Biden, rather than Trump, has been directly implicated in some seriously concerning practices, including brazen violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

“The evidence contained on the infamous laptop alone constitutes a compelling case of influence peddling, fraud, bribery, tax evasion, and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, as well as the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Tens of millions of dollars flowed into Biden bank accounts from foreign interests and governments who appear to have paid enormous sums of money for access to Joe Biden and promises of influence,” Jarrett wrote.

That alone is problematic, given that the representatives of the United States, along with their family members, should not be in the business of accepting bribes from any foreign nation, regardless of the context, given rather serious policy implications.

Alas, the Biden clan decided to involve itself as deeply as possible with some of the worst possible foreign actors, especially given the bellicosity exhibited by these actors on the foreign stage.

“Entities in China, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Romania, and several other countries poured money into Biden coffers with Hunter’s father as an expected beneficiary. Allegedly $40 million came from Russia, some $30 million from China, and roughly $11 million from Ukraine,” Jarrett continued.

And, rather tragically, a war is raging away between Russia and Ukraine, a war that openly began under Obama, paused under Trump, and resumed under Biden.

Biden, however, has decided to up the dangerous rhetoric, ranting and raving about the possibility of nuclear war, remarks that have been chastised by American allies and multiple political pundits.

Even more disturbingly, it appears that “the Big Guy” and his son likely received even more than $40 million from Russia, judging from recent media reports that have evaluated even more disturbing influence in Hunter’s various “business interests.”

A relatively recent publication from the New York Post revealed even higher expenditures: “A real estate company with ties to first son Hunter Biden received more than $100 million from a Russian billionaire for property investments across the US that date back a decade, sources have told The Post.”

Wow. $100 million invested in real estate, huh?

Who knows the real amount, given how much new information continues to surface, despite the media’s best efforts to bury it.

No wonder sanctions are barely working against Russia, especially since so much Russian money has already been run through various politicians’ coffers … And those politicians certainly won’t be sanctioning themselves.
