Governor Gruesome Busted In Gargantuan Lie

Good old Governor Gavin Newsom, otherwise known as Governor Gruesome, may be leading his state straight down the drain, but he sure offers plenty of dark humor while doing so.

Especially humorous are his continued attacks on the vastly more successful, more intelligence Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, which have become more and more pointed in recent months.

Governor Gruesome is probably still ticked that his in-laws financially donated to DeSantis, another humorous revelation from Fox News Digital.

Which is no doubt why Newsom has staged a series of melodramatic appearances that appear to revolve around attacking DeSantis, including a recent appearance at New College in Florida.

“I’m crawling out of my skin for you … I want you to know you’re not alone. You matter,” Newsom shrieked to the student body.

Yeah. That was one of his more absurd lines. Melodrama to the extreme.

Newsom, being Newsom, continued to brag about his melodramatic appearance, claiming that the college served as “ground zero” for apparent book bans initiated by DeSantis.

“Last week, I went to New College in Florida – ground zero for what the [Republicans] are trying to do to education in this country … Take a moment to watch this. Books are banned. Speech is limited. Faculty are scared. Students are bullied. This is just a small dose of what’s to come,” Newsom raged.

Pretty pitiable that the governor spreads such blatant disinformation.

As reported by Fox News Digital, Newsom effectively made up his remarks, as he provided zero evidence for them.

“Fox News Digital reached out to Newsom’s office asking them to provide a list of the alleged banned books at the institution. However, they failed to do so and did not respond to the inquiry,” the outlet reported crisply.

No kidding. That’s because Newsom, as usual, had nothing.

Christopher Rufo, who was appointed by DeSantis to serve as a trustee of New College, blatantly called out Newsom’s falsehoods.

“Gavin Newsom is spreading lies and falsely claiming that ‘books are banned’ at New College of Florida. He wants to put all Americans under the boot of DEI commissars and California’s failed policies,” Rufo said angrily.

He also wants to continue his attacks on DeSantis, as evidenced by the ridiculous remarks he made at the same college appearance.

“He has one thing that is common with everything he’s doing – bullying and intimidating vulnerable communities. You’re not only on the right side of history, you have something he’ll never have – moral authority,” Newsom raged.

Oh yeah, the social media-addicted, debt-laden students who expect everyone to pay for them have real “moral authority.”

Right.

Needless to say, DeSantis did not even give this nonsense the time of day.

The Florida governor’s Deputy Press Secretary, Bryan Griffin, was rather crisp in his remarks.

“Governor DeSantis is focused on getting Florida’s public institutions of higher learning refocused on academics and truth. Stunts from political opponents don’t matter and have no effect,” Griffin remarked drolly.

Amen!
