Nothing like a “Public Safety Meeting” being literally bricked by rabid protestors, several of whom will apparently never grow out of the 2020 mentality.
Between COVID and BLM, it’s clear the nation began to veer perilously, and deliberately, off-course, a trainwreck magnified all the more by Biden and his absurd policies.
Indeed, while a huge percentage of the nation has recovered from the Dem-imposed pandemic lockdowns, some locales have yet to recuperate their former luster.
Much of this difficulty can be attributed to horrific Democrat policies, which tend to promote criminals while punishing taxpayers.
The irony, of course, is that Democrats need taxpayers for their hairbrained schemes and handouts, but they don’t usually think long-term.
Businesses, however, do, which is precisely why multiple retailers have continued to flee cities like San Francisco in droves.
The formerly magnificent American city, which has transformed into a crime-ridden cesspool laden with drugs, is hardly an ideal locale for most retailers, and one after another has left.
Humorously, Nordstrom effectively cited Democrat policies as a reason for its departure.
“Decisions like this are never easy, and this one has been especially difficult … But as many of you know, the dynamics of the downtown San Francisco market have changed dramatically over the past several years, impacting customer foot traffic to our stores and our ability to operate successfully,” Nordstrom wrote.
“The dynamics of the downtown San Francisco market have changed.”
In other words, downtown has become a drug den.
Apparently, one that is difficult to overcome, as not even the mayor of San Francisco can apparently make an anti-crime presentation safely anymore.
San Francisco Mayor London Breed found that out the hard way recently, when delivering a supposedly “fiery” anti-crime message.
“We can’t keep speaking out of both sides of our mouth … On the one hand we want change, and we want to hold people accountable, and on the other hand, we’re willing to let people get away with murder,” Breed raged.
Well, Dems have been willing to let the Clintons and others get away with murder for ages, so it’s no surprise their voters eventually followed.
“We have to make the kinds of decisions that are going to allow for people to get the help and support they need, but to not allow things to continue in the way that they have for far too long … It’s time for a change,” Breed boomed.
Apparently, the crowd was not at all in the mood for a “change” of any kind.
Instead, the mob brayed, “no more cops,” underscoring just how damaging 2020 truly was.
And, to emphasize the commitment to violence, someone in the crowd hurled a brick during the presentation, striking a female high school student and underscoring the absence of safety in the city.
While the female high school student survived, the fact that leftists feel empowered enough to hurl bricks at anti-crime demonstrations shows just how far a huge percentage of the nation has fallen …
And how difficult it may be for that part to recover, if ever.
