Well, that escalated quickly.
Senator Fetterman of Pennsylvania, formerly known as a “progressive” Democrat, sure is making it clear that he is more than content to think for himself.
Especially when it comes to incoming President Donald Trump.
As reported by the New York Post, Fetterman has likely sent the Democrats into an apocalyptic rage due to his forthcoming visit to the “Winter White House,” otherwise known as Mar-a-Lago.
“I think that one, he’s the president, or he will be officially,” Fetterman asserted, “and I think it’s pretty reasonable that if the president would like to have a conversation – or invite someone to have a conversation – to have it.”
Without a doubt. Rather sensible commentary, especially relative to the screeching of AOC and her ilk.
“No one is my gatekeeper,” Fetterman added pointedly.
Amen. Shame that puppets like Obama and Biden cannot say the same.
“I am not the senator for just Democrats in Pennsylvania, I’m everyone’s senator,” Fetterman added, making it rather clear that he will work for everyone, including those who did not vote for him.
Just like Trump always did during his own leadership.
Little wonder that Trump is a resoundingly popular president, especially as multiple tickets for his inauguration have apparently sold out.
“President-elect Donald Trump’s inaugural committee is no longer selling tickets for major donors to attend his swearing-in ceremony due to a reported shortage.
Million-dollar donors are now on wait lists for inaugural events, as tickets for many of the events in Washington, D.C., that weekend have been sold out …
The former and future president’s inaugural committee has already raised $170 million on pace to reaching up to $200 million. The stunning sum more than doubles the funds raised by President Joe Biden in 2020, as just $62 million was raised by his committee after beating Trump in the presidential election,” the Daily Mailreported.
Wow. Yet another clear indication of Trump’s longstanding popularity with many individuals.
Per Trump committee spokesperson Danielle Alvarez, the high demand for tickets to Trump’s inauguration reinforce the degree to which he truly is a president of the people.
“There is an incredible interest and excitement for President Trump’s inauguration and the events surrounding,” Alvarez declared.
Not to mention the events after Trump becomes president.
Which is where Fetterman has likely enraged Democrats the most of all: Highlighting his own interest in acquiring Greenland through peaceful means.
“There’s a lot of talk about Greenland, for example. And I know a lot of, there’s a lot of freakouts, you know. And of course, I would never support taking it by force, but I do think it’s a responsible conversation, if they were open to acquiring it,” Fetterman mused.
Cue mainstream media hysteria. Especially after Fetterman’s next quip.
“I’m angling to be named the Pope of Greenland,” Fetterman quipped.
Rather humorous … as well as rather refreshing.
Perhaps Trump’s second term will be less turbulent than his first, especially with Big Tech CEOs and sensible Democrats finally coming around.
