Trump’s Words Come Back To Haunt Fauci

Former President Donald Trump clearly saw Dr. Anthony Fauci in a different light than the mainstream media, which seems all but poised to bestow sainthood upon the outgoing NIH Director.

However, Trump made it rather clear that Fauci perhaps served himself the most effectively of all during the pandemic.

“I felt it was time to speak up about Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx, two self-promoters trying to reinvent history to cover for their bad instincts and faulty recommendations, which I fortunately almost always overturned,” Trump remarked, “they had bad policy decisions that would have left our country open to China and others, closed to reopening our economy, and years away from an approved vaccine – putting millions of lives at risk.”

Trump’s remarks from 2021 have certainly reverberated throughout 2022, especially considering that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has recently taken actions that indicate his own suspicions regarding the impact that various mandates have had on millions of people.

In essence, DeSantis is not at all opposed to looking into the impact of bad policy decisions.

Thus, Fauci, who is perhaps one of the few public health bureaucrats in history to become a multimillionaire during the pandemic, is likely not thrilled with the most recent announcement from DeSantis.

DeSantis, who has long followed the science more closely than deeply politicized Fauci, has made it clear that the state of Florida will be keeping a close and careful eye on the aftermath of a number of ill-advised federal decisions.

According to an official press release, “Governor Ron DeSantis held a roundtable discussion joined by Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo and world-renowned physicians, researchers, and public health experts to discuss adverse events of the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines and announce new, aggressive actions to hold the federal government and Big Pharma accountable.”

Accountability. Just the type of development to send the Biden administration running.

Especially the three-pronged accountability that DeSantis has in mind.

The first action includes “establishing the Public Health Integrity Committee,” which “will be overseen by the Surgeon General to assess federal public health recommendations and guidance to ensure that Florida’s public health policies are tailored for Florida’s communities and priorities.”

Thank you, DeSantis. An excellent counterpart to the deeply partisan CDC and NIH.

The second action includes “filing a petition for a Statewide Grand Jury to investigate crimes and wrongdoing committed against Floridians related to the COVID-19 vaccine.”

Fauci certainly won’t like that one, considering that “science” is the type he attempts to suppress the most.

The third action includes “leading further surveillance into sudden deaths of individuals that received the COVID-19 vaccine in Florida, based on autopsy results. The state will collaborate with the University of Florida to compare research with studies done in other countries.”

Fauci really won’t like that one, nor will his Big Pharma bros, who enjoyed loads of free advertising thanks to Fauci-inspired mandates.

What a way to ensure billions in profits.

Of course, Fauci played dumb during a recent appearance on CNN’s “At This Hour,” clearly trying to diminish DeSantis’s well-designed efforts.

Anchor Kate Bolduan noted DeSantis’s recent moves in Florida, asking Fauci for his input on the seemingly anti-Fauci moves.

“Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is now asking the Florida Supreme Court to greenlight an investigation into, and the way he put it is, any and all wrongdoing in Florida with respect to COVID-19 vaccine. What’s your reaction to that?” Bouldan inquired.

Quite a bit of “wrongdoing” comes to mind, especially with regards to mandates.

“I don’t have a clue, Kate, what he’s asking for. We have a vaccine that unequivocally is highly effective and safe and has saved literally millions of lives. The Commonwealth Fund has come out with a report this past week that vaccinations have saved 3.2 million lives, 18 million hospitalizations, and approximately $1 trillion in costs. So what’s the problem with vaccines? I mean, vaccines are lifesaving. Quite frankly, Kate, I’m not sure what they’re trying to do down there,” Fauci raged.

What DeSantis is “trying to down there” is arrive at the truth, Fauci.

Something the Biden administration routinely avoids …
