During a recent appearance on ultra-left comedian Jimmy Kimmel’s show, President Joe Biden raged that all progress towards alleged gun safety can apparently boil down to the prolonged efforts of the NRA, the nation’s top gun lobbying organization.
According to Biden, the NRA excessively influences the Republican Party into believing that “if they vote for rational gun policy, they’re going to be primaried,” in reference to various proposals, such as banning semiautomatic rifles or increasing the minimum age for buying a gun.
The president added that he was contemplating additional executive orders, though he was quick to criticize former President Donald Trump by claiming he would not use any non-legislative strategies.
“[That’s an] abuse of the Constitution,” Biden proclaimed.
Biden’s appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” was designed to appeal to American voters, as well as deliver his views to millions of Americans.
It is said that Biden is angered by his unfavorable poll ratings, alongside serious concerns regarding rapidly escalating energy prices, baby formula shortages, and insufficient progress on a broad array of legislative matters, including gun safety, voting rights, and abortion rights.
As a result, varied advisors are attempting to clean up Biden’s image by putting him on comedy shows, rather than actionable solutions, among them compromise with Republicans.
Biden also blasted the economy he significantly contributed towards, chiefly by raging that inflation is the “bane of [American] existence.”
Rather than acknowledge the active efforts taken towards eliminating the energy independence established by Trump, Biden raged about corporations, such as Exxon Mobil, for apparently causing huge problems in the economy.
On his part, Kimmel also glibly misrepresented reality to the audience, suggesting that corporations were not “[following] any of the rules,” despite the fact companies’ expenditures are more closely monitored than the government’s.
“How do you ever make any progress if they’re not following the rules,” Kimmel wondered.
The president smirked, then remarked, “we’ve got to send them to jail.”
