Biden Boasts About “Congenital” Optimism On Mass Federal Spending

New week, same problem.

That’s right: Last week (not so) unexpectedly ended with no resolution in sight, especially given Biden’s reported “absolutist” position on debt.

Now, Biden is apparently set to meet with House Leader Kevin McCarthy, where he will undoubtedly paint him in just a poor a light as he recently did with former President Donald Trump in a deeply invasive speech at Howard University.

Hilariously, however, Biden clearly believes he will prevail.

“I remain optimistic because I’m a congenital optimist,” Biden boasted, “I think we’ll be able to do it.”

Thanks for your “congenital” optimism, Mr. President.

Cue the collective national groan from increasingly dwindling numbers of taxpayers who will be picking up the tab for Dems’ reckless spending, much of which is no longer even allocated to American citizens or criminals, given the mass influx at the border.

Even worse, the White House Press Secretary continues to obfuscate as usual, leaving Americans perennially in the dark.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is rapidly becoming known for her utterly ineffectual performance, though she is especially incompetent in all matters mathematical and economic.

Which is precisely why her most recent commentary regarding the debt ceiling was nothing short of an unmitigated disaster.

As detailed by Fox News, Jean-Pierre delivered especially unbelievable commentary in response to whether or not a meeting between President Biden and House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy will “move the ball” on the debt ceiling discussion.

Considering that Biden has reportedly blown off McCarthy for well over 100 days, it is unlikely that any “ball” will be moved and Biden will just abuse his power as usual.

“I want to step back for a second, and I really appreciate the question, but let’s look at this for the American people who are trying to figure out, who may not know what is it that we’re talking about. So, look, let’s look at it through the American families’ eyes for a second. If you buy a car, you are expected to pay the monthly payments,” Jean-Pierre trilled.

Eh, what? Exactly how does that response address anything about anything with regards to the debt ceiling?

“If you buy a home, you are to pay the mortgage every month. That is the expectation. That is the spending that you put forth or spending that you may have done before. And now you’re playing every month. If you do not pay your car payment, if you do not pay your mortgage payment, then your credit is going to be bad. It’s going to hurt your credit,” Jean-Pierre continued ignorantly.

With respect, Madame Press Secretary, a meandering response about personal credit, which is rather rich coming from an administration that lives off voters who don’t pay their debts, does absolutely nothing for reassuring the American public about the current debt crisis in the United States.

On the contrary, it reassures the public of her complete and total incompetence.

Even more astonishingly, Jean-Pierre somehow pivots, in clearly prewritten remarks at this point, to blaming Trump for the current economic crisis.

“So, let’s look at Congress for a second. This is spending that they’ve already done. They’ve already spent. Let’s not forget the $2 trillion Trump tax cut that they were willing and happy to vote for. So, we’re telling them or saying to them, do your job, pay for something that you’ve already spent on. That’s it. This is spending that has already occurred,” Jean-Pierre insisted.

The press secretary declined to mention how reinvestment in the economy fueled a real job market and real economic growth, while also declining to mention the deadweight losses associated with the mega spending habits of utterly irascible politicians.

Her efforts to blame Trump sat very poorly with a number of individuals, including Montana Representative Matt Rosendale.

“It’s time for Biden and the Senate to act on the House GOP plan to responsibly address the debt ceiling, instead of making more false claims. Our fiscal crisis is a result of DC’s spending… NOT tax cuts that grew the economy to increase tax revenue,” Rosendale remarked coolly.

One of the most frightening things of all is the fact that lamestream media failed, as usual, to call out Jean-Pierre for her wanton propagandism, enabling the leftist mascot to continue her destructive verbal carnage.

Even more frightening, however, is Biden’s alleged “absolutist” position on the debt ceiling, coupled with massive spending, much of which will undoubtedly be diverted to illegal migrants.
