Biden Drives Business Owners To Ruin With Massive Tax Increase

If the “economic shutdowns” blamed on COVID weren’t evidence enough of the Dems’ obvious desire to destroy American enterprise, then Biden’s latest and not-so-greatest move with taxes should really reveal the Marxists’ dark intentions.

Indeed, Biden is screwing around with the tax system once again, apparently to punish the economically productive, much to the horror of business owners and entrepreneurs.

You know, the individuals who employ an estimated 63 percent of the nation that deigns to work.

Apparently, Biden thinks it’s a great idea to more than double capital gains taxes, which are widely known as “deadweight losses” in economics.

Then again, Biden appears to take economics lessons from AOC, perhaps one of the most economically illiterate members of Congress.

Who also holds an economics degree from an allegedly elite university.

Real estate investor Grant Cardone is less than impressed, noting that Biden appeared to have ripped a page straight out of Trudeau’s book.

“Biden proposes 44.6% capital gains tax, from current 19% … Can’t even come up with his own ideas taking a page out of Trudeau playbook who raised Canada to 66%,” Cardone remarked in disgust.

Indeed, this scenario appears exclusively designed to punish the most productive members of society, as detailed in a sobering scenario presented by The Blaze.

“Consider the implications. A couple spends decades building a small business, investing their blood, sweat, and treasure, and ultimately deciding to sell their life’s work as they retire. Under Biden’s proposal, their reward for years of hard work and risk-taking would be a punitive tax rate stripping away nearly half of their gains. This isn’t “taxing the rich.” It’s looting America’s employers and entrepreneurs,” the outlet noted.

Not only that, but Biden apparently wishes to make history as one of the biggest thieves masquerading as a president.

“President Biden has formally proposed the highest top capital gains tax in over 100 years,” Americans for Tax Reform (ATR) reported.

Yet another unfortunate development that has been foreshadowed by some of the world’s most brilliant writers.

While multiple conservative writers have observed the prescience of George Orwell in his famed works, including 1984 and Animal Farm, other writers have clearly foreshadowed what was to come with someone like Biden/Obama in power.

In Atlas Shrugged, brilliant writer Ayn Rand demonstrates astonishing prescience, given that she appears to have long since anticipated the eventual efforts to destroy American exceptionalism and ingenuity.

Just consider one of the following excerpts, which highlights the hallmark of free market capitalism, otherwise known as one of the few economic systems in the world in which one can achieve wealth without being born into it.

Ironically, however, the free thinking capitalists are the most hated in Rand’s work, much in the way they’re hated in Biden’s current regime.

“Do you know the hallmark of a second rater? It’s resentment of another man’s achievement. Those touchy mediocrities who sit trembling lest someone’s work prove greater than their own …

They envy achievement, and their dream of greatness is a world where all men have become their acknowledged inferiors. They don’t know that that dream is the infallible proof of mediocrity, because that sort of world is what the man of achievement would not be able to bear.”

Tragically, Biden appears to be utterly devoted to destroying American ingenuity and free market enterprise, as evidenced by his insane capital gains proposals.

Perhaps it’s time for Atlas to shrug.
