Over the weekend, the horrific assassination attempt on top presidential candidate Donald Trump shook most sensible Americans to the core.
Especially as an innocent American, firefighter Corey Comperatore, also lost his life merely for attending a political rally.
Even more horrifically, as shocking as the attack was, it was not wholly unbelievable.
After all, what else did the Dems think would happen when ultra-pliable young people are fed a steady stream of Trump’s so-called “threat to democracy?”
Seems that more than one social media-addicted youth took the Dems seriously, which led to the attempt to execute Trump in public.
Needless to say, more than one Democrat is rather tired of the vile, hateful rhetoric, and they’ve taken an even bolder stance against Biden’s message of hate in the wake of the near-assassination of Trump.
As reported by The Washington Examiner, Democrat Representative Jared Golden, who hails from Maine, is rather tired of the “hyperbolic threats” routinely issued by his party with regards to Trump’s alleged threat to democracy.
Golden has already previously spoken out against the Democrats’ ridiculous campaign strategy, which was evidenced from his remarks earlier in July.
“I refuse to participate in a campaign to scare voters with the idea that Trump will end our democratic system,” Golden declared.
Rather sensible. Frankly, it would be smarter for the Democrat Party to campaign on policy … if they have any.
In the wake of the assassination attempt on Trump, Golden issued an even more pointed statement, which underscores the remarkably dangerous political propaganda that Dems have long been spewing against Trump.
“As I have said before, this election should not be misleadingly portrayed as a no-holds-barred struggle between democracy and authoritarianism, or a battle against fascists or socialists intent on destroying America as we know it,” Golden declared.
Indeed. After all, the Dems have all but suggested Trump is going to be a dictator and the United States “as everyone knows it” will end.
What did they think would happen from such rhetoric?
“These are dangerous lies,” Golden added.
And wholly deplorable disinformation.
Golden proceeded to blast the “political culture” fostered by the Democrats, noting that they routinely emphasize a “hopeless future.”
“Our political culture projects a dark and almost hopeless future of diminishing freedom, increasing violence, and growing instability led by unserious people who care more about their own personal well-being than the nation’s. In the pursuit of short-term political gain, they are eager to exaggerate and cast their political opponents as diabolical caricatures bent on destroying the country,” Golden continued.
“Diabolical caricatures.” That is a perfect way to describe the way in which the leftists have long portrayed Trump. And they wonder why quite a few of their militant followers have chosen the path of violence.
On top of these absurd “caricatures” of Trump, Golden also notes how the current political climate effectively disallows healthy political debate, a hallmark of freedom of speech.
“As a result, it becomes easier to see those we disagree with not as fellow Americans who bring different offerings to the marketplace of ideas, but as enemies who would ruin us, to be defeated at all costs,” Golden continued.
Exactly. And that’s exactly why Americans can’t even talk anymore, becoming steadily divided … which benefits no one, but the real foreign enemies.
The type who unfortunately have already done business with “the Big Guy.”
Golden also noted that there are few favorable results associated with continuing such violent political rhetoric, as all it does is create a climate of extreme anxiety.
“The result is an overwhelming sense of fear and anxiety about the future of our country, where the normal and tested tools of democracy no longer seem adequate to protect the common good. In this light, a rise of politically motivated violence in America is sadly unsurprising,” Golden added.
Absolutely. And since most younger people were effectively locked down in their homes for two years during COVID – another disastrous Democrat policy – it’s no surprise that quite a few appear to have become quite radicalized by social media.
“Our country faces many challenges at home, and abroad the world is increasingly unstable and dangerous. Yet we remain a strong, democratic, and wealthy nation capable of overcoming these hard times if we are united in our common interests. Divided, we are likely to fall,” Golden concluded.
Unfortuantely, it seems that more than one globalist masquerading as a “representative” in the current government is intent on division … at all costs.
Hopefully, in the wake of the near-successful attempt on Trump’s life, some politicians may actually grow a semblance of a conscience.
