CNN Issues (Another) Empty Threat

Clearly forgetting the number of times that conservatives have been “cancelled” due to holding an opinion contrary to that of the mainstream media, the left is currently flipping out due to the fact that some of them are subject to cancellation when they take actions to threaten someone’s personal security.

An excellent example of such cancellation can occur when the left decides to publicize the exact real time coordinates of private jets, including a private jet that oftentimes carries none other than Twitter CEO Elon Musk.

Needless to say, it wasn’t terribly smart for numerous far-left “journalists” to tweet Musk’s real-time location, as Musk ensured that such willful endangerment was promptly cancelled on his platform.

Mike Solana, editor-in-chief of Pirate Wires, confirmed that the cancellations can be directly traced back to Musk’s doxxing policy.

“So far, I’ve been able to confirm about half the accounts suspended posted links to the jet tracker thing in violation of the new doxxing policy. Unclear just yet about the rest, but I think it’s safe to say the rule is for real,” Solana warned.

One such journalist that doxxed Musk’s address includes CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, though of course the Communist News Network didn’t see it that way.

Which is when the network issued another one of its empty threats.

“The impulsive and unjustified suspension of a number of reporters, including CNN’s Donie O’Sullivan, is concerning but not surprising,” the network whined.

“Impulsive and unjustified?” Funny, as that suspension seemed to fall right in line with Twitter’s new, totally understandable terms.

“Impulsive and unjustified” are words far more applicable to the cancellation of various conservative figures.

“Twitter’s increasing instability and volatility should be of incredible concern for everyone who uses the platform. We have asked Twitter for an explanation, and we will reevaluate our relationship based on that response,” the network roared.

“Reevaluate.” Ah, right. Frankly, it would be great if CNN would cancel itself, including all its half-truths, from Twitter.

Ella Irwin, who serves as Twitter’s Head of Trust and Safety, gave a far more reasoned response than CNN did, noting that users who endanger other are absolutely subject to being removed from the platform.

“Without commenting on any specific accounts, I can confirm that we will suspend any accounts that violate our privacy policies and put other users at risk,” Irwin remarked crisply.

Musk himself also weighed in on the cancellations, noting that criticism of him is fine, whereas potential physical threats against him are not.

“Same doxxing rules apply to ‘journalists’ as to everyone else. They posted my exact real-time location, basically assassination coordinates, in (obvious) direct violation of Twitter terms of service,” Musk drawled.

It should be noted that Musk recently had a scare due to a crazed stalker pursuing a vehicle that was carrying one of Musk’s youngest children.

Though the stalker believed Musk himself was in the car, he clearly wasn’t, but his child was.

Most parents would likely become a little annoyed at the left by that point.

“Criticizing me all day long is totally fine, but doxxing my real-time location and endangering my family is not,” Musk asserted.

Absolutely correct.

Sadly, left apparently perceives conservative speech as more important than violent threats …
