Seems that the left come up with some new and unimproved way to “get Trump” on a near weekly basis.
The utterly biased judge in New York City, who oversaw perhaps the most blatant witch hunt in modern American memory, already tried to issue a gag order against Trump.
Now, efforts to “gag” Trump have further intensified amongst the woke army, which is evident from the antics of none other than the ultra-biased Department of “Justice.”
As reported by Newsweek, a DOJ affiliated individual has decided to “get Trump” along with other deranged Dems, regardless of the clear will of the American people.
In a filing regarding Donald Trump’s classified documents case in Florida, DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith decided to amplify the melodrama that already surrounds the leading presidential candidate.
Specifically by claiming that Trump had made a series of “egregious” threats, in yet another poorly disguised attempt to undermine the Republican contender’s red hot campaign.
Smith has already attempted to gag Trump within the last month, which the top presidential candidate’s legal team referred to as a poor effort to “restrict President Donald Trump’s campaign speech as the first presidential debate approaches at the end of this month.”
Now, he’s attempting to do so again, chiefly by claiming that Trump continues to threaten his supposed investigation with “egregious” outbursts.
“Trump’s recent posts falsely insinuating that the FBI and DOJ had planned to assassinate him during the search at Mar-a-Lago are even more egregious,” Smith asserted.
Well, can you blame him? Heck, he was just convicted for 34 bogus felonies after the jury “deliberated” only a few hours (a jury that was not even sequestered, apparently), so it’s not beyond the realm of impossibility for some really crazed libs to be plotting even more aggressive solutions.
“Deploying such knowingly false and inflammatory language in the combustible atmosphere that Trump has created poses an imminent danger to law enforcement that must be addressed before more violence occurs,” Smith added.
Is that so? “Knowingly false and inflammatory language” appears more in line with the various pro-Hamas protestors, especially as they are openly advocating for genocide, amongst other horrific outcomes.
“Trump, for his part, has ‘repeatedly’ made ‘threatening public statements,’ including a message of vengeance the day after his initial appearance in court… His rhetoric on social media also contains clear allusions to violence,” Smith continued.
In other words, the same types of messages long disseminated by Dems, and politicians generally.
Just whenever Trump does it, the whole earth apparently explodes.
“On September 22, 2023, on Truth Social, the defendant falsely claimed that a witness, the retiring Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, had committed treason and intimated that he should be executed,” Smith added.
And a comedian held up a bloody facsimile of Trump’s head while some pop star called for the White House to be bombed with Trump in it.
Yet neither of those celebrities appeared to deal with any fallout from their actions.
However, Smith’s efforts may be in vain, especially as conservatives are rallying against him.
Specifically, an amicus brief from at least 23 other conservative states has urged the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida to disregard Smith’s attempts to muzzle the top presidential candidate.
Especially as such attempts are blatant election interference.
“Like Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Smith seeks to restrict President Trump’s campaign speech as the first presidential debate approaches at the end of this month,” Trump’s attorneys declared.
Indeed. All the more reason for why the Dems are so desperate.
“When agents of one candidate seek a court order to muzzle discussion on matters relating to important electoral issues, that restraint raises even more fundamental First Amendment concerns,” Trump’s attorneys continued.
Frankly, the entire Constitution is under threat as long as the Dems are in charge … especially when reviewing one deranged executive order after another.
