Trump might be besieged by multiple witch hunts in a weaponized court system now, but he sure as heck is having the ultimate last laugh after the latest boondoggle from the White House.
As recently reported the White House has suddenly decided to get serious about border security, if only because the 2024 presidential election is looming and even Dem governors are starting to lose patience over the unrelenting swarm of migrants.
One such Democrat includes New York Governor Kathy Hochul, a former cheerleader for open borders, though she still unwisely permits “sanctuary status” in her state.
“Well, we want them to have a limit on who can come across the border. It is too open right now … People coming from all over the world are finding their way through simply saying they need asylum,” Hochul insisted.
Really, Ms. Governor? The border is “too open” now? You don’t say!
Exactly what do you think got Trump elected in the first place? A secure border under Obama? Hardly!
Of course, since “President” Biden is really serving Obama’s “third term,” it is not surprising that Biden brayed about how he would do the exact same thing Obama would do, which is the opposite of what Trump would do.
On his alleged campaign trail, Biden declared that there would “not be another foot of wall constructed on my administration.”
Alas, by 2023, DHS Secretary Mayorkas, who spent an inordinate period of time claiming that there was no crisis at the border … is now claiming that there is a crisis at the border.
In fact, the crisis is suddenly so great to Mayorkas that he is waiving 26 federal laws, several of which hilariously pertain to Green New Deal initiatives, in order to continue constructing Trump’s wall.
Talk about an epic triumph for the former president, not to mention even more evidence for why the current Democrat regime needs to be evicted, stat, from the White House.
Or, to use Pelosi’s lovely terminology, “fumigated,” though she herself was just “fumigated” out of her own pretentious office.
Regardless, Trump is delighted by the turn of events, and he issued a prompt press statement indicating that.
As reported by Fox News Digital, a Trump campaign spokesperson succinctly underscored the president’s prescient vision, which was making American great again … until Biden/Obama came along, again.
“President Trump is always right. That’s why he built close to 500 miles of powerful new wall on the border, and it would have been finished by now. Instead, Crooked Joe Biden turned our country into one giant sanctuary for dangerous criminal aliens,” the campaign aid declared.
Indeed, he has. Though it’s a sanctuary that will sit quite poorly in 2024.
Talk about having the ultimate triumph of the decade to date against doddering Biden.
One can only hope that Trump will follow that one up with an even bigger triumph in 2024.
