At last, the mainstream media fired one of its most incendiary hosts.
None other than Tiffany Cross was recently subjected to being cancelled, and, like a classic leftist, Ms. Cross just didn’t know when to quit.
Unfortunately, Cross was more forthright in her effective demands for violence.
Indeed, Cross did not have her contract and her inflated salary renewed, likely in part due to her intense efforts to bring about nothing short of war in the United States.
And, if such a word seems inflammatory, it most surely is … and it also represents the exact language Cross used with her MSNBC-ordained platform.
“It is indeed a war. And I have to say, they have won some battles… but we have to keep our eye on the war. And everybody needs to pick up a weapon and get involved because this is for the safety and lasting of the country,” Cross raged.
“Pick up a weapon,” huh? What happened to Dems’ call for effectively banning firearms?
Of does Cross only support gun owners who procure their guns illegally?
It would certainly make sense, given her rather obvious disregard for American norms and institutions.
That said, individuals such as Ms. Cross undoubtedly influence the BLM mob, which is precisely why she called out by Tucker Carlson.
In a recent segment, Tucker Carlson compared “The Cross Connection with Tiffany Cross,” as well as MSNBC generally, to the Rwandan media outlet Radio Television Libre des Mille Collines.
That particular Rwandan media outlet was notorious for catalyzing the 1994 Rwandan Genocide, which is precisely why many Rwandans now acknowledge that the tragedy began with words before weapons.
Clearly, Cross is chomping at the bit for “war,” which is precisely why Carlson openly shredded her on his show.
“Do they know what’s happening on their channel? Are they OK with this?” Carlson wondered.
Apparently, they were either not aware or not used to being under scrutiny, considering that Ms. Cross did not receive a renewed contract, which promptly inspired 40+ black leaders to demand a meeting with MSNBC President Rashida Jones.
The aggrieved group also sent a letter to accompany their request, fixating on their “disappointment” in the network’s decision to let go of a flagrantly prejudiced commentator.
“We are deeply disappointed in the abrupt cancellation of the Cross Connection and the unexpected ouster of its host, just four days before a critical midterm election,” the leaders intoned.
Well, Americans are “deeply disappointed” in the allegedly free press becoming a propaganda machine, with the most hateful individuals including Ms. Cross.
Apparently, the leaders want a meeting Rashida Jones in order to “discuss a path forward that is restorative to the reputation and dignity of Ms. Cross.”
“Reputation and dignity.” Please.
If anyone destroyed her “reputation and dignity,” it was none other than Cross herself.
Not that leftists will admit that inconvenient truth.
“[Tucker Carlson’s] intentional misrepresentation of her platform amounted to no less than a direct attack, and should have engendered immediate defense and support of Ms. Cross by her parent network. Instead, it appears that NBCUniversal has allowed Fox News to dictate its hiring and unwarranted firing decisions. We cannot afford to be bullied by those who willingly and wantonly drag this country backwards,” the letter implored.
If that isn’t the pot calling the kettle black, what is?
After all, Ms. Cross was quite “wanton” in her open call to violence, much like Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
An MSNBC spokesperson was clearly not enamored by the letter sent from the leaders, crisply acknowledging receipt and not much else.
“We received a letter signed by several organizations. We are proud of our long history celebrating diversity on and off air at MSNBC and throughout the News Group. This is an ongoing effort, and we’ll continue to elevate diverse perspectives and voices during this election season and beyond,” the spokesperson announced coolly.
Sources that did not divulge their names were even blunter.
“Repeated bad behavior on and off-air. Bad judgment,” an anonymous source revealed to Fox News Digital.
That’s for sure.
Aside from her demands to pick up weapons, she also took fierce aim at several black conservatives, as if daring to think is one of the greatest crimes of all.
Cross certainly ripped Tim Scott to pieces, a rather asinine move considering that Scott is vastly more pro-American than leftist who wring their hands in despair over the sight of an American flag.
“Tim Scott does not represent any constituency other than the small number of sleepy slow-witted sufferers of Stockholm Syndrome who get elevated to prominence for repeating a false narrative about this country that makes conservative white people feel comfortable,” Cross raged.
Way to demonstrate a lack of racial bias, Ms. Cross.
The Supreme Court was not safe either, with Cross previously referring to Justice Clarence Thomas as “Justice Pubic Hair on My Coke Can.”
As nonsensical as that name clearly is, it is abundantly obvious that Cross has nothing of substance to offer, which is precisely why MSNBC finally bid her adieu.
Even some commenters on the Washington Post story regarding Ms. Cross had a clue.
“Oh thank goodness. I won’t miss her at all. She always dresses like she’s going clubbing after the show,” someone remarked.
However, since it is WaPo, other commenters had less of a clue.
Apparently, someone took offense to the “clubbing” comment, implying strongly that it was … you guessed it … “racist.”
“Maybe she is – is that a problem? Stop censoring black women’s expression,” the individual commenter raged.
“Stop censoring black women’s expression?” How about stop censoring conservative viewpoints …
