At last, J.K. Rowling, the legendary author of Harry Potter who has long advocated against militant transgenderism, has the real science on her side.
Dr. Hilary Cass, a leading physician in the UK, recently released a devastating report that revealed the degree to which “gender identity” services for confused youth are, in fact, devastating.
They certainly aren’t beneficial, that’s for sure.
“While some young people may feel an urgency to transition, young adults looking at their younger selves would often advise slowing down,” the report noted.
Seriously. As would must adult versions looking back at their younger selves.
“Some of the young adults said to us they wished they’d known when they were younger that there were more ways of being trans than just a binary medical transition,” Cass informed The Guardian.
Predictably, the woke media outlet claimed that the NHS has “let down” thousands of troubled children anyway, despite the clear “science” that suggests otherwise.
That said, sensible adults, including Rowling, have praised Cass’s long overdue report while simultaneously blasting woke celebrities.
Rowling declared that Cass’s study constituted a “watershed” moment that clearly “lays bare the tragedy” of permitting extremely young children to transition.
As detailed by the Daily Mail, one individual informed Rowling that woke actors Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, who openly criticized Rowling for her (sound) opinion, owe her “a very public apology… safe in the knowledge that you will forgive them.”
“Not safe, I’m afraid,” Rowling replied.
In essence, Rowling flatly asserted that she would forgive neither Radcliffe nor Watson, who only came to fame in the first place due to the Harry Potter series created by Rowling.
As Rowling is the writer and the other two are typically woke actors, it is rather clear that former boasts infinitely more intellectual capacity, not to mention critical thinking, than the latter.
Which explains Rowling’s brutal, yet absolutely on point response.
“Celebs who cosied up to a movement intent on eroding women’s hard-won rights and who used their platforms to cheer on the transitioning of minors can save their apologies for traumatised detransitioners and vulnerable women reliant on single sex spaces,” Rowling declared.
They should, but their handlers won’t let them. Celebrities rarely admit defeat … that would require humility that they have long since abandoned.
“Over the last four years, Hilary Cass has conducted the most robust review of the medical evidence for transitioning children that’s ever been conducted. Mere hours after it was released to the press and public, committed ideologues are doubling down,” Rowling added.
Well, that is what leftists do. Double down in the face of blatant evidence to the contrary. While labeling the evidence as “disinformation.”
“These are people who’ve deemed opponents ‘far-right’ for wanting to know there are proper checks and balances in place before autistic, gay and abused kids – groups that are all overrepresented at gender clinics – are left sterilised, inorgasmic, lifelong patients,” Rowling continued angrily.
The left could care less. That’s just more money for the Big Pharma globalists clearly backing them.
The same Big Pharma that outsources drug production to China.
“I understand that the review’s conclusions will have come as a seismic shock to those who’ve hounded and demonised whistleblowers and smeared opponents as bigots and transphobes, but trying to discredit Hilary Cass’s work isn’t merely misguided. It’s actively malign,” Rowling added angrily.
Indeed, it is.
“Even if you don’t feel ashamed of cheerleading for what now looks like severe medical malpractice, even if you don’t want to accept that you might have been wrong, where’s your sense of self-preservation? The bandwagon you hopped on so gladly is hurtling towards a cliff,” Rowling proclaimed.
Way to go, Rowling! Tell them how you really feel. Because it’s awesome.
And she is utterly unafraid of her highly justified rage.
“And if I sound angry, it’s because I’m bloody angry. I read Cass this morning and my anger’s been mounting all day. Kids have been irreversibly harmed, and thousands are complicit, not just medics, but the celebrity mouthpieces, unquestioning media and cynical corporations,” Rowling declared.
“Unquestioning media.” In other words, propaganda.
“The consequences of this scandal will play out for decades. You cheered it on. You did all you could to impede and misrepresent research. You tried to bully people out of their jobs for opposing you. Young people have been experimented on, left infertile and in pain,” Rowling added furiously.
Sounds very much like the treatment others received for questioning COVID protocols.
“I thought the last tweet was going to be my last, but I just burst into tears. The #CassReview may be a watershed moment, but it comes too late for detransitioners who’ve written me heartbreaking letters of regret. Today’s not a triumph, it’s the laying bare of a tragedy,” Rowling added bleakly.
A tragedy that the left would repeat, again and again, as long as they can.
