“Ready for Ron” appears ready to ramp up a 2024 campaign for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, even though he has yet to announce which intentions, if any, he has for the 2024 presidential campaign.
The PAC has recently raised $3.3M, and it is anticipated to spend approximately $2.3M on television advertisements alone.
Thus, this PAC certainly believes that DeSantis should gun for the White House, as evidenced not only by the $3.3M in funds recently raised, but also by direct commentary from the PAC itself.
“America is in grave danger from the Radical Left and their failed, socialist, woke policies. The America-First agenda MUST be revived. Governor Ron DeSantis is the next Great American President – like Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump – who will turn our country around,” the official “Ready for Ron” PAC announced.
Well, that’s quite true. The America-First agenda does need to be revived, especially in light of the growing bellicosity of both Russia and China alike.
DeSantis, unlike the Democrats, has actually taken China seriously, much like his predecessor Trump, which is precisely why he has recently passed a fresh round of legislation designed to combat the increasingly insidious influence of the CCP across the United States.
In the wake of the COVID pandemic, much of the world’s attention has turned towards what China’s real global intentions are, especially when accounting for the geopolitical influence the nation now wields (cough, Russia-Ukraine War, cough).
It is unfortunate that such scrutiny did not begin years ago, considering a recent report from the American Enterprise Institute, which noted that the “value of China’s overseas investment and construction combined since 2005 is $2.25 trillion.”
And guess where a huge percentage of that investment is?
That’s right: The United States.
Conveniently, the ruling CCP happens to obtain land that just happens to be near major American military bases.
Whichever genius thought it would be a great idea to sell sensitive land to the CCP has clearly made out like a bandit, in spite of the very grave risks to national security.
For this reason, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a ban on the CCP, and CCP-related shell companies, from procuring any more property in Florida.
“When they have interests that are opposed to ours and you see how they’ve wielded their authority, especially with President Xi, who’s taken a much more Marxist turn since he’s been ruling China, [it] is not in the best interests of Florida to have the Chinese Communist Party owning farmland, owning land close to military bases,” DeSantis explained.
Exactly.
However, DeSantis also doesn’t want the CCP raiding the booming subdivision market in Florida, much of which houses tax refugees from crime-laden, Democrat-run states.
“My view is, okay, yeah, no farmland, but why would you want them buying residential developments or things like that? I don’t want them owning subdivisions or things like that,” DeSantis continued.
Yup. Who knows what devices may be found there … or classified documents, for that matter.
“The issue’s going to be if someone comes in and buys, it’s not the CCP that’s signing that. These are holding companies. You’ve got to structure [legislation] in a way that will effectively police it. But yes, we do not need to have CCP influence in Florida’s economy,” he added assertively.
Definitely not.
That is the same CCP, after all, that reportedly donated $30M to the Penn Center in 2017.
And guess where the first round of Biden’s misplaced classified docs were found?
