Sanctuary City Crafts Sinister “Closed Door” Policy Against Deportation

Talk about fiercely closing one’s doors.

As reported by the New York Post, the Oregon Department of “Justice” has apparently decided that 2025 will be a year of rebellion against lawful immigration, including apparent “closed door” policies against federal immigration authorities.

Which is evidenced by its so-called “Community Toolkit” that illegal migrants can consult in their continued efforts to evade the law.

The so-called “toolkit,” which may be reviewed in its entirety here, provides a rather startling Q&A regarding how to remain an illegal migrant in the United States, at least to the extent that the state of Oregon will facilitate such a prolonged stay.

And this toolkit also boasts a disturbingly spiffy opening.

“Welcome to the Civil Rights Unit (CRU) Sanctuary Promise Community Toolkit! The CRU Sanctuary Promise Community Toolkit is a free, online resource for those seeking to understand Oregon’s sanctuary laws and help ensure that our communities are safe for all. Everyone has the right to live, work, play, and learn safely in Oregon. This toolkit covers the essential information needed to understand, report, and combat violations of Oregon’s Sanctuary Promise Laws,” the Oregon DoJ brayed.

Aw, that’s nice.

Such a shame that many Americans cannot enjoy “the right to live, work, play, and learn safely” with illegals overtaking literally everything.

A takeover that has been on steroids during the entirety of the Biden administration.

The “toolkit” also guides willful lawbreakers through all the various ways in which they can avoid rightful comeuppance from ICE.

Just consider the charming excerpts from the prolonged Q&A section of the website.

“How do I prepare myself and my family for encounters with ICE?”

Well, how indeed?

Thanks to the “legal advice” of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), illegals can apparently demand to see a warrant.

“Do not open the door, ask to see a warrant signed by a judge, tell them you do not consent to them being at your home and tell them please leave,”

Right. Apparently, illegal migrants are totally privy to Fourth Amendment protections as U.S. citizens, in the la la land of Oregon, otherwise known as Antifa’s top headquarters.

Another question is rather ridiculous, as it all but advertises how state and local authorities may attempt to subvert federal authorities.

“Is there a place I can call to report ICE or other federal immigration authorities active right now in my community?”

Naturally, the handy dandy guide provides an array of contact information for local nonprofits that were apparently designed to thwart federal efforts to stymie the massive flow of illegal migrants.

Alas, the toolkit does note that federal authority may well supersede state and local authority in some situations (the horror!) and to prepare accordingly.

“The outcome of a state investigation or a private civil suit does not change a deportation order, or any other decision/action by the federal courts or federal immigration authority to prosecute or remove a person from the United States,” the Oregon DoJ admits.

You don’t say.

Between Oregon giving out “toolkits” for illegals to evade the law and California allegedly “Trump proofing” its own operations, it seems that the West Coast is going way out of its way to subvert the democracy of which it claimed to be an ardent defendant.
