Blackburn Blasts Biden’s Fiscal Irresponsibility

Biden has decided to throw even more fuel on the inflation fire through his rather reckless decision to cancel student debt, and he has incurred significant criticism from several GOP leaders for his decision to do so.

Senator Mike Braun of Indiana asserted that Biden is doing a far better job of inflicting debt upon all rather than canceling debt for some, especially since taxpayers, including some who eschewed a college degree due to the costs, are now on the hook for Democrats’ shameless vote buying.

“President Biden isn’t ‘canceling’ debt, he’s shifting it onto everyone, including the majority of Americans who chose not to get a degree,” Braun remarked irritably, “this will make inflation worse, and we should focus on getting more value out of colleges rather than giving them a reason to hike prices.”

Seriously.

Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin also points out how shamelessly unfair such a plan is to indiviudals who were far more responsible as far as loans and debts are concerned.

“Grossly unfair to families who didn’t send their kids to college or managed to pay off their student debt. Democrats have become the party of the elite,” Johnson remarked coolly.

Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina noted that Biden’s latest move demonstrates limited concern for the lowest earning American households.

“President Biden’s plan to cancel student debt is no compassionate ‘freebie’ for Americans,” as well as an “economic burden placed on lower and middle class families in the midst of a recession,” Scott remarked in disbelief.

Senator Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, however, had a particularly humorous response, especially as she was able to jab transgender madness in doing so.

“President Biden’s decision to waive student loan debt will increase inflation and is another gift to the rich. Tennesseans should not be forced to pay for coastal elites to get their PhD in gender studies,” Blackburn sniffed.

Awesome. Those same gender studies degrees are the same ones terrorizing K-12 classrooms now, so all the more reason not to forgive the student debt.

If anything, such degrees should incur a fine for all the social disruption they lead to.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is extremely unimpressed by the Democrats’ shameless vote buying as well, pointing out the obvious that the simpering media won’t.

“The median American with student loans already has a significantly higher income than the median American overall. President Biden’s inflation is crushing working families, and his answer is to give away even more government money to elites with higher salaries. Democrats are literally using working Americans’ money to try to buy themselves some enthusiasm from their political base,” McConnell said angrily.

The Republican also blasted the plan as “astonishingly unfair.”

One can only hope that many “astonishingly unfair” things are undone after the red wave in November …
