CNN Furiously Circles The Drain

With each new move Elon Musk makes, the leftist media is undoubtedly wishing it had put more effort into taking the new Twitter CEO down.

As that ultra-leftist mouthpiece is dealing with the consequences of its long-running bias now, in particular CNN, colloquially known as the Communist News Network in an ever-“progressive” state.

Indeed, CNN has garnered notoriety for hassling a high school student over a total lie to the extent the underaged minor received death threats over a deliberately edited video. The victim, Nick Sandmann, eventually settled with CNN for an undisclosed sum, given the extent to which the network literally threatened his life.

CNN has also been notorious for promoting the Trump-Russia collusion lie, keeping up the deception for at least three years straight.

Furthermore, CNN also furiously denied that the Hunter Biden laptops were authentic, claiming instead that they were Russian disinformation. Alas, long after Biden was elected, intelligence agencies, alongside varied media outlets, grudgingly agree that the laptop was, indeed, authentic.

CNN also had zero issue promoting truly incompetent candidates, giving Biden an endless hall pass to campaign from his basement.

Little wonder, then, that Musk is now eyeballing the feckless CNN in terms of how it should be truthfully labeled on Twitter, given that the network is effectively state propaganda, parroting the lies shamelessly spread by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre.

As inquired by several users on Twitter.

“When are you going to label CNN as State Affiliated Media?” one user queried.

Musk replied promptly, thoughtfully, and succinctly. Unlike most politicians.

“Good point … If an organization portrays itself as balanced, but is not, it should be labeled to inform the public,” Musk mused.

Brilliant. Hey, the mainstream media was obsessed with “fact checking” Trump, so it shouldn’t have any issue with various media networks being labeled as balanced or unbalanced, right?

Unless, of course, “fact checking” was just another partisan tool, rather than an actual objective of conviction.

One thing is for sure: Former CNN President Jeff Zucker was absolutely, shamelessly biased to the extent he perhaps irrevocably poisoned any possibility of civil, democratic discussions regarding politics.

“An insider at CNN revealed that the network’s former president Jeff Zucker ordered staffers to forego investigating claims that the pandemic originated in a Chinese lab, arguing the discussion would only serve as a ‘Trump talking point,’ …

Zucker’s disdain for anything related to former President Donald Trump drove the network into an anti-Trump operation from the moment he descended an escalator at Trump Tower and announced his bid for the White House nearly eight years ago. From that day forward, the network pushed countless false accusations, misapplied or misrepresented facts, and omitted pertinent information surrounding Trump’s only term in office,” the Daily Wire reported.

Wow. Way to permit personal, pathological hatred of one individual to color the entire nation’s viewpoint for that person.

Especially when Beijing benefits more than anyone else from this situation. Though, perhaps that is the point … Perhaps Zucker, along with the “Big Guy” have a vested interested in empowering China.
