Feckless Mayor Increases “Free” Monthly Cash To Illegals By 26%

Looks like woke Mayor Eric Adams has more than doubled down on his devotion to illegal migrants.

Not only is Adams insisting upon maintaining at least $1,000 cash monthly for illegals, but he has apparently decided to increase the amount of cash received.

To the tune of just over 26 percent.

According to a stunning new report from the Daily Mail, a so-called “family of four” is now eligible to receive $15,200 for “food” annually, rather than the previously stated $12,000.

“A family of migrants with two children under the age of 17 could be given up to $15,200-a-year under New York City mayor Eric Adams’ $53million debit card scheme … while a family of eight could be given $2,203 a month,” the outlet reported.

Way to stop the tide of illegal migration, Mr. Adams.

Ever occur to you that giving away “free” money to illiterate illegals, several of whom have already formed organized crime units in New York City, is not exactly the best way to discourage illegal migration?

His scheme is beyond half-baked – it is fully, totally out there.

So out there that even a tech billionaire is at a loss for words.

“Wow,” Musk remarked flatly on X, linking to a story detailing Adams’ decision to increase cash handouts to illegals.

Even worse, the blatant cash grab is apparently designed to pander to illegal migrants’ “culturally relevant” tastes.

Kayla Mamelak, Adams’s woke spokesperson, actually delivered the following message with a straight face.

“Not only will this provide families with the ability to purchase fresh food for their culturally relevant diets and the baby supplies of their choosing, but the pilot program is expected to save New York City more than $600,000 per month, or more than $7.2 million annually,” Mamelak declared.

So, increasing cash payouts to illegals by 26 percent monthly is going to save New York City $600,000 per month? What kind of math is that?

Here’s some real math: Try eliminating New York’s perpetual “sanctuary” state, and the city may well save millions, if not billions, each month.

Mamelak also fails to account for the cost of jailing migrants after they rob businesses to the tune of several thousand dollars, while beating up several law enforcement officers along the way.

Law enforcement officers obviously afraid to do their jobs in the wake of the BLM era, though illegals are quite possibly coddled even more than BLM thugs were.

Hilariously, Adams himself somewhat recognizes that the situation with illegals is getting out of control, yet he somehow believes increasing the amount of “free” money will stop the problem.

Just this past January, Adams insisted that no one would be sleeping on the street.

“This is not going to be a city where we’re going to place children and families out on the street or sleep on the street. That is not going to happen,” Adams declared in January.

Is that so?

By February, Adams was singing a rather different tune.

“We’re getting close to anywhere from 2,500 to peaking at 4,000 a week,” Adams raged.

Uh, and handing out free cash is going to stop that?

New York City may well start receiving 25,000 to 40,000 illegals per week if it keeps up its crazed scheme of giving away “free” money.

“We’re out of room, literally … People are going to be eventually sleeping on the streets,” Adams declared, mere weeks after he said no one would be sleeping in the streets.

Just imagine what he’ll be saying by March.
