If there was ever a time to resume the Section 230 debate, which pertains expressly to regulating Big Tech much more severely, now is the time.
After all, Tulsi Gabbard, who formerly ran as a potential candidate for the Democrat Party in 2020, has just very publicly resigned from a party she blasted as controlled by “warmongers.”
And, despite the very public nature of her resignation, Google apparently feels the need to question it.
When searching for phrases stated directly by Gabbard herself, the search giant returns a rather interesting message.
“It looks like the results below are changing quickly. If this topic is new, it can sometimes take time for reliable sources to publish information,” the search engine proclaimed.
Really? That’s interesting. Any reason Google never cares to “fact check” the openly deceitful president?
Google also advises users to “Check the source” to see if it is “trusted” as well as to “Come back later” as “other sources might have more information on this topic in a few hours or days.”
Well, considering The Guardian was listed as a media outlet covering Gabbard’s resignation, the publication that broke the Edward Snowden story, it should come as no surprise that Google is questioning that publication.
One thing is for certain: Google probably can’t stand what Gabbard just did, which was to tell the truth.
And, on top of that, state her open-mindedness during an appearance with Tucker Carlson.
“I’ve always been an independent-minded person. A Democrat, yes, but an independent Democrat. And my loyalties are very clear: I love our country. And I took an oath both as a service member, as a soldier, as well as a member of Congress, to support and defend the Constitution. And that’s an oath that I take extremely seriously,” Gabbard asserted.
Independent-minded. No wonder Google began to immediately attempt to censor results surrounding her statements.
“And so when you look at this party, the today’s Democratic Party, it’s controlled by fanatical ideologues who hate freedom. They despise the Constitution. They actively find ways to undermine our God given rights enshrined in the Constitution, like freedom of speech, if you say something and I say something that they don’t like,” Gabbard continued.
And, ironically, Google demonstrated just that attitude with the absurdity of its above “advice.”
“We have too many people in Washington who are warmongers subservient to the military industrial complex and continuing to put their own selfish interests or the interests of their donors first,” Gabbard added.
Which would be why Biden prattles on about Armageddon. Absurd.
Gabbard also shredded the Dems as those “with no mind for the costs and consequence that their decisions have on the American people,” which is precisely why they detested Trump.
She continued on to note that the party has fallen under “the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue and stoke anti-white racism,” which is absolutely their terrible strategy in a nutshell.
It is clear that Gabbard has been displeased for some time with the Dems, as evidenced during a previous conversation with Jesse Waters.
Waters noted, “I’m just angry. I’m sad and I’m angry, and I feel like we’re losing the country. How do you feel?”
Gabbard concurred, adding, “We are. This is something that every American should be extremely concerned about because this raid is just the latest serious escalation of this disturbing trend that we’ve seen of blatant abuse of power by those in power to not only protect their friends, target their political opponents or frankly anyone who dares to dissent or challenge or disagree or question what this administration is doing.”
No wonder she resigned within weeks of these statements.
Now that is real follow through.
She also called for others to join her during the same appearance with Tucker Carlson.
“I’m calling on my fellow commonsense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party. If you can no longer stomach the direction that so-called woke Democratic Party ideologues are taking our country, I invite you to join me,” Gabbard declared.
