White House Launches Sinister Intimidation Campaign

While the Biden regime has long since dismissed any sense of respect towards checks and balances, the White House appears to be especially egregious in its disrespect when cornered.

And they’re certainly feeling cornered now, especially when accounting for the impeachment inquiry launched by Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy.

“’House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct … Taken together, these allegations paint a picture of a culture of corruption,” McCarthy declared crisply.

Not to mention a long overdue impeachment inquiry.

One that the White House is responding to with a vengeance.

As reported by the Daily Mail, the Biden regime apparently has the gumption to demand that the press turn on the Republicans, rather than do their job: report the truth.

Ian Sams, a special assistant to the president and senior advisor to the White House Counsel’s Office, wrote a letter addressed to multiple conservative and liberal media outlets, including CNN, Fox News, the Associated Press, and the New York Times.

Apparently, Sams intends to order the media outlets how to report, claiming that the long overdue impeachment inquiry should “set off alarm bells for news organizations.”

“Covering impeachment as a process story – Republicans say X, but the White House says Y – is a disservice to the American public who relies on the independent press to hold those in power accountable,” Sams declared.

Wow. Talk about gaslighting on steroids. Not to mention an utter disregard for the First Amendment.

“It’s time for the media to ramp up its scrutiny of House Republicans for opening an impeachment inquiry based on lies,” Sams raged.

Translation: Report “news” the way that Biden wants news reported, regardless of how much disinformation it contains.

Journalist Matthew Keys was deeply alarmed by the deeply troubling meddling with the press, especially when controlling the press is a hallmark of a dictatorship.

“This is not okay. The White House should not be encouraging, influencing or interfering in the editorial strategies of America’s newsrooms, including CNN and the New York Times,” Keys observed, gravely concerned.

Especially as the presidential control of the media will only continue.

“The media is the problem. The bigger problem, at the moment, is what the White House is apparently planning to do, if Oliver Darcy’s reporting is correct (I have no doubt it is) … And that is the kind of short-sighted move that gets Donald Trump re-elected next year,” Keys added.

Exactly.

Little wonder that McCarthy has accused Biden of “allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption” … especially as the White House’s response is to continue to do more of the same.

However, sending a written letter demanding for the media to effectively comply with the White House narrative illustrates just how blatant the Biden regime has become in terms of utterly disregarding the Bill of Rights.
