Dem Governor Deploys National Guard Against Illegals

Ah, the wonders of being a sanctuary state.

After all, whenever a policy openly defies federal immigration laws and proclaims that illegals, regardless of criminal background, can stay indefinitely, it’s rather obvious that a number of unseemly illegals will gravitate precisely towards such “sanctuaries.”

Democrat Governor Maura Healey of Massachusetts has certainly been ultra-defensive, claiming that the high-tax, ultra-leftist state serves as “a beacon” to illegals.

“Many of these families are migrants to Massachusetts, drawn here because we are and proudly have been a beacon to those in need,” Healey pompously declared, amid rising public concerns regarding the untenable number of migrants.

Astonishingly, Healey made this claim while also declaring a state of emergency, which means that she is demanding federal funds for dealing with issues that are a direct result of deliberately violating federal law.

Talk about Democrat “logic”

As reported by Fox News, Healey has now deployed 250 members of the National Guard to deal with the escalating migrant crisis.

“Massachusetts is in a state of emergency, and we need all hands-on deck to meet this moment and ensure families have access to safe shelter and basic services,” Healey intoned.

Here’s a thought, Ms. Healey: Perhaps there would be no need for a “hands-on deck” if Massachusetts bothered to follow proper federal immigration laws in the first place.

Of course, the other Dems in the state won’t consider such a logical course of action either – they would rather strain the state’s resources to oblivion.

With Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll being a particularly absurd example.

“The plan that we have in place today with the deployment of the National Guard, which happened just last month, will put National Guard staff, soldiers, in locations as part of a response to our non-service providers, essentially creating rapid response teams in places that we don’t have the ground service contractors or case management services happening on a regular basis,” Driscoll declared.

Well, Ms. Driscoll, that would be because Massachusetts is a tad too small to swallow the tens of millions of migrants that will eventually make their way, if Dems’ illegal immigrant policies continue indefinitely.

“All of our typical emergency shelter sites were filled a month ago … That means we’re filling in trying to find locations,” Driscoll added, stating the obvious.

Disturbingly, Driscoll has previously advocated for individuals in Massachusetts to give up part of their personal residences to migrants, which is a rather troubling development, to put it mildly.

“Most importantly, if you have an extra room or suite in your home, please consider hosting a family. Housing and shelter is our most pressing need and become a sponsor family,” Driscoll previously urged.

Any reason why the Dems’ “most pressing need” virtually never pertains to the well-being of all Americans?
