Gotta love it when woke Mayor Eric Adams manages to alienate one of the largest rappers of the twenty-first century, especially when Democrats have traditionally relied heavily upon the Black vote.
Until the illegals swarmed in, that is.
That said, 50 Cent, who has been famed for over twenty years, was rather aghast at the new and unimproved plan for addressing illegal migrants: providing them with $1,000 cash monthly to spend at bodegas on skeptical items.
Of course, rather than reverse the insane plan, Adams doubled down on his terrible strategy.
Via his spokesperson.
“Not only will this provide families with the ability to purchase fresh food for their culturally relevant diets and the baby supplies of their choosing, but the pilot program is expected to save New York City more than $600,000 per month, or more than $7.2 million annually,” Adams spokesperson Kayla Mamelak declared.
That’s nice. Glad to hear that “culturally relevant” food items for illegal migrants are top concern of New York City’s administration.
Even gladder that a well known rapper/celebrity is calling out the plan for exactly what it is.
“’WTF Mayor Adams call my phone … I don’t understand how this works, somebody explain this. I’m stuck, maybe TRUMP is the answer,” the rapper declared.
Alas, 50 Cent, there is no possible explanation for the insanity of handing out $1,000 in cash to migrants.
Especially if Adams’ goal is for the city to receive fewer migrants.
Exactly how is handing out literal free cash every month supposed to solve that?
Clearly, such a strategy is insane, and 50 Cent sees right through it.
The remarks from 50 Cent, whose birth name is Curtis Jackson, come hot on the heels of his defense of veterans in the wake of Democrat madness.
“I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers … They don’t even give veterans health insurance … call my phone now, help me understand this s**t. WTF,” 50 Cent said in disgust.
You’re hardly the only one who feels that way, Mr. Jackson.
For that matter, the rapper also saw right through the Dems’ crazed tax proposals in 2020, which would hammer artist royalties, amongst other earnings.
“WHAT THE F—! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT. F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya f—— mind,” the rapped roared.
Quite refreshing to see the Democrat schooled by a rapper who has more sense than they do.
Perhaps 50 should consider a run for the mayor’s office, as he would surely do a better job than woke Adams.
