Anti-Haley Hooligan Scores Paradoxical $24.5M Payday

Gotta love it when media conglomerates effectively reward woke commentators who were only in their positions in the first place due to their apparent “DEI” traits.

Don Lemon of CNN, long loathed for his preening arrogance and insufficient intellect, commanded millions upon millions to spew rhetoric, all because he identifies as both Black and gay.

Lemon apparently went too far in his scathing commentary on Nikki Haley, which revolved entirely around her age, if only because he alienated the few female viewers left in CNN’s dwindling audience.

Yet he didn’t go down without a fight, launching a lawsuit against the company for being terminated prematurely.

And that lawsuit netted him a massive payday.

According to a report from The Blaze, Lemon is effectively being paid to do nothing.

“Former CNN prime-time host Don Lemon is reportedly set to receive around $24.5 million as part of a deal with the mainstream news outlet almost a year after he was fired …

The amount Lemon is expected to receive is what he would have earned had CNN kept him on the staff through the remaining three years that were left on his contract. Lemon was dismissed from the outlet in April 2023 after he was accused of misogyny and other misbehavior,” the outlet detailed.

Wow. That’s even worse than CEOs receiving so-called “golden parachutes,” worth well into the millions, upon being terminated.

After all, those CEOs usually aren’t paid propagandists like Lemon.

And Lemon, being Lemon, has been incredibly duplicitous in the entire situation.

“I was informed this morning by my agent that I have been terminated by CNN. I am stunned. After 17 years at CNN I would have thought someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly … At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network,” Lemon declared on Twitter, now known as X.

Amazingly, Lemon went as far as to hint that his so-called diverse background was a factor in his firing.

“It is clear that there are some larger issues at play. With that said, I want to thank my colleagues and the many teams I have worked with for an incredible run. They are the most talented journalists in the business, and I wish them all the best,” Lemon added insincerely.

Jussie Smollett the Second, apparently.

Shortly after Lemon’s tweet, CNN declared Lemon’s remarks were not “accurate,” noting that the veteran propagandist had been called to a meeting with management.

Suspecting that he would be sacked, Lemon decided to upend the network and make a public announcement instead.

Now, he’s apparently scored nearly a quarter of $100M, illustrating how profitable misogyny can be for some.

Even worse, current CNN employees are aghast at Lemon’s special treatment.

“I can’t believe we just paid Don Lemon all this money … They just wiped out the morning show team and they are paying him $25 million!” an anonymous insider declared to the New York Post.

CNN insiders were further enraged upon learning that their bonuses would be cut by 15 to 20 percent.

On its part, CNN claims that Lemon won’t receive such a payday … Though they haven’t revealed any evidence to the alternative.
