Enraged Multibillionaire Publicly Pulls Plug On Woke University

Way to go, Harvard.

Hope the affirmative action decisions have served you well, considering the massive blowback you’re currently encountering due to such ill-informed virtue signaling.

Indeed, Harvard has not only elected to engage in blatant racial discrimination in the student admissions process, but also apparently in the administration hiring process.

Which explains the current appointment of Ms. Claudine Gay as the President of Harvard, a president that apparently finds it very difficult to condemn terrorism.

Just consider her first statement, which absolutely fails to use the strongest terms possible to condemn the abhorrent terrorist attack launched by Hamas against wholly innocent people.

“We write to you today heartbroken by the death and destruction unleashed by the attack by Hamas that targeted citizens in Israel this weekend, and by the war in Israel and Gaza now underway,” Gay sniveled.

“The attack by Hamas.”

Wow, talk about one of the most neutral ways to discuss a terrorist massacre. Would it have killed the affirmative action Harvard “president” to insert “unconscionable,” or even “devastating” before the attack?

Apparently, it would have, considering that Ms. Gay may well not consider the attack to be “devastating” at all.

Needless to say, Ms. Gay didn’t bother to dissociate herself from the pro-terrorist student organizations’ despicable joint statement that effectively condoned Hamas, probably because she inspires such hatred in the first place.

After all, the tone is set from the top.

It seems someone told Ms. Gay to at least pretend to care for the cameras, as she issued another statement that claimed to “condemn” terrorist actions … yet she just couldn’t resist incorporating her politics.

“As the events of recent days continue to reverberate, let there be no doubt that I condemn the terrorist atrocities perpetrated by Hamas … Such inhumanity is abhorrent, whatever one’s individual views of the origins of longstanding conflicts in the region,” Gay declared.

“Whatever one’s individual views of the origins of longstanding conflicts in the region.”

Translation = Ms. Gay’s “views” skew heavily pro-terrorist, much like the pro-terrorist monsters who masquerade as students at the formerly elite institution.

And that position has really enraged at least one mega-billionaire.

As detailed by the Daily Mail, Idan Ofer, who is the founder of Eastern Pacific Shipping, and his wife, Batia Ofer, have quit the board at Harvard in a very public manner.

Calling out Gay’s despicable position on terrorism, Ofer announced that he and his wife were pulling the plug on their participation on the school board “’in protest of the shocking and insensitive response by the president of the university, who did not condemn the letter by student organizations who blamed Israel for the massacres.”

One can only hope that other influential indivdiuals follow suit.

Though one shouldn’t be surprise if the Harvard president doubles down on her pro “Resistance” (i.e., pro-Hamas) standpoint as aggressively as her students have.

As more than one has noted.

“What would you expect from Harvard? The school is all about wokeness,” one individual mused.

“Harvard has become a cesspool of liberal wokeness. Hopefully many other benefactors will follow suit. Its incredible how opinions will change when money is on the line,” another person added.

It is indeed incredible.

After all, Biden and Co. sold out U.S. national security for next to nothing, relative to the real costs in the long run … for everyone.
